My dog saw Dr. Vogel, one of the dentistry specialists. She is extremely knowledgeable. She is also very friendly and professional. She explains medical terminology in a way that is easy to understand, if you don’t have any prior knowledge of medical terminology or veterinary medicine. I definitely felt like my dog was VERY WELL cared for, and that Dr. Vogel also took my concerns/questions/needs into consideration when formulating a plan for proceeding with my dog’s care. I would recommend RBVH to ANYONE!!!! I am ONLY giving four stars/taking one star off because of how expensive RBVH is.. However, they are an emergency/specialty veterinary hospital, so I can (somewhat) understand why prices would be high, I was just shocked that within a little over a year a smaller procedure costs about the same as a larger procedure that was done on my dog

Not quite sure how to put into words the experience I had at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital - Tinton Falls. After seeing my primary vet for a couple visits it was agreed the next diagnostic step would be an ultrasound for my puppy Savannah. I was so upset to see her decline over the days and I knew it was the best option so I headed up to the 24 hour emergency Sunday Night in the rain. Upon arrival was greeted by Jen with kindness and concern. Then I believe the girls name was Rachel (?) came to take Savannah back all while holding back my tears. Dr. Barber called me back to speak of Savannahs next steps. She was extremely kind and her bedside manner was amazing. Was matter of fact but did not set off alarms when the tests have not been taken. It was suggested Savannah stay overnight along with an option of coming back the next day. At no point did I feel pressure (financially) either way. We made the decision to hospitalize Savannah and I felt very comfortable leaving here there. All my

What an amazing facility! The sheer size of the hospital is very impressive, with different specialties for a wide variety of animals. It’s extremely clean, and everyone is so caring.I brought my 5-year-old cat in for an emergency surgery after he ate Christmas tinsel. Rexy received excellent care, and the surgery went smoothly.Thank you, Dr. Doering!

We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Jill Sammarco and her team at RBVH who performed my dog Elora’s spay surgery. Dr. Sammarco is incredibly skilled, and we are sure quite busy. Despite this, she took the time to call us directly, answer our questions promptly, and truly be there for us, even post-operation. That level of kindness, responsiveness, and care is rare, and it meant more to us than we can put into words. Thank You!!!

My 14 year old rescue dog was diagnosed with suspected oral melanoma cancer last year. In lieu of radical surgery I opted a second opinion with radiology oncologist Dr Lewis. Dr Lewis did not agree with the diagnosis and proposed to observe the area. One year later my Boo remains a happy active 14 yr old pup. Still runs after squirrels! Thank you Dr Lewis for not letting us hit the panic button and guiding us to take the more thoughtful approach. Your experience and knowledge has helped our Boo live a happy life. You and your hospital are the absolute best!!!

My family had to rush our Great Pyrenees to Red Bank Veterinary hospital December 9 because he needed emergency gallbladder removal surgery. From the moment we stepped in the hospital we were greeted with nothing but kindness and compassion. Our boy had surgery the following day and made it through wonderfully. Dr. Doering consistently reached out to us daily giving us updates about Buddy’s progress. He had to stay in the hospital for a few days and we were able to bring him home a couple days ago. If it wasn’t for Red Bank Veterinary hospital , Buddy would possibly not be alive today. They treated buddy like he was their own and made sure he was comfortable and stable the whole time. The hospital even worked with us financially and the estimate of the bill turned out less than initially thought. Thank you Dr. Doering, Dr. Harness and the rest of the Red Bank veterinary hospital staff for saving our boys life and taking such good care of him. 🐾

My pup was transferred from another hospital to Red Bank for a potential specialty surgery. Initial X-rays revealed a stick stuck in her esophagus at the first vet. After transfer, kept her in critical care at Red Bank and I felt she was safe overnight. Then with Red Bank’s CT scans and endoscopy, they found that there was no stick but trauma to back of her throat. They treated my dog with such care. Dr. Doering’s communication was next level; clear, empathetic, realistic. She would even repeat the summary of her findings to make sure I understood and wasn’t overwhelmed. Plus, I loved that you could do a “comfort check” with the front desk at any point. And they made it easy to work with my pet insurance so I didn’t have to front a lot of the bill. The biggest thing for me was that Maia came out of there so happy and calm. I’m beyond grateful!

Dr Ford was the first doctor who could help my cat after going to three other doctors and specialists. He was calm and confident and he took care of my baby. A cast was just what my kitty needed to feel better, and within 24 hours he was less depressed and showing signs of reduced pain. The entire experience at this hospital is top notch. I highly recommend it.

Everyone there from the time you walk through the doors were amazing. Dr. Carl Sammarco is great! He takes his time both with me a nervous pet parent with lots of questions and with my little Ollie. Very friendly with him and even welcomes Ollie’s kisses with his bad doggie breath!

We have love for all of the exotic vets at red bank, but especially for Dr. Moy & Dr. Cox. They always take extraordinary care of my bunny Ben, & I can feel all of the love the staff has for my girl as well. I highly recommend red bank to any bunny owners.

Amazingly caring staff. From calling to make appt. To reception area.staff and to intake by Vet tech and visit with Dr. Berger, My pet and I were treated with kindness and respect and all took the time to explain everything to a very anxious dog mom. While checking out I was assisted by a tall young man. Wish I had his name, who was just such a kind, understanding and patient person- and also liked the Beatles. And understood my AbbeyRoad’s name .The staff at the pharmacy topped everything off with their humor and the love they gave to my AbbeyRoad.Thank you for all you do. And for understanding the importance of having empathy and patience with others during a stressful situation. Thank you also to Dr. Trotter for his “background”assistance that day without having to ask him. Thank you!!

Thank you, Dr. Kayla Luis and the staff at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, especially those in the emergency wing, for helping my family’s beloved rabbit, Ellie, pull through her bout of GI Stasis. My mom and I were very happy with and grateful for the care she received. Ellie is doing well at home and is happy to be reunited with her brother, Henry.

We had a great experience at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Allison Caine and her assistant Keisha. They were extremely thorough in evaluating our dog, Tilly, and took the time to explain everything clearly.Dr. Caine has a sharp, slightly sarcastic sense of humor when breaking down medical terminology—which honestly made complex explanations much more engaging and memorable. It never detracted from her professionalism; if anything, it made the information easier to digest.Keisha was equally kind and attentive. We felt well-informed and genuinely cared for throughout the visit.

Our previous Veterinarian retired. We've heard great things about Redbank Veterinarian Hospital, and since our two pups are getting older we decided to setup an appointment. We were not disappointed. The staff and Doctor were great. Very thorough with the visit. We definitely made the right decision!

Our sweet Paisley jumped out of our moving car back in October, and it was truly one of the scariest moments of our lives. We were transferred from a North Jersey animal hospital to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital because we were told they were the best of the best — and my goodness, that could not have been more true. From the emergency team to the greeters at the front desk, every single person treated us with urgency, compassion, and professionalism. They took Paisley in immediately, and the neurology team had her scheduled for an MRI first thing the next morning.I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Sheen. Her compassion, knowledge, and incredible people (and animal!) skills were beyond reassuring during such a traumatic time. She even went the extra mile to check on Paisley’s results on her day off. That level of care meant everything to us.After some much-needed good news, we later worked with Dr. Haggerty for five tooth extractions and a root canal. Once again, from the moment we walk
