Nestled in downtown Nampa, PreFunk Bar is a relaxed setting to grab a beer with friends. The beer menu is constantly rotated to provide a diverse and adventurous selection of brews. They also offer mimosas at times as well as seltzers a small selection of wines. The best part of PreFunk is they are dog-friendly.

I'm sad to say that this is now the one and only pre funk in the treasure valley but on a positive note it is in a great location in canyon county and the people out here are much more friendly than the typical down town Boise crowd. Parking can be difficult but there are some secret spots the locals will turn you onto if you play your cards right 😉

Great craft beer selection with 25 beers on tap. I've coming here since they opened and they have always done a stellar job of providing a wide variety of craft beer styles. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to help you find the beer, or cider, you're looking for. They don't serve food, but if you walk next door to Messenger Pizza they'll gladly walk it over when it's gone. Small town vibe, delicious craft beers, dog friendly, and welcoming environment will keep me coming back. Look for Bialy while you're there... she loves pizza. Update: love this place. Great place to have a drink, dog friendly, nice in door and outdoor spaces. Went in on Saturday around 5pm, plenty of seats available in both sections. Lots of great beers to try! Can’t wait to go back.

Prefunk is probably one of my most favorite places, not just bars, in the whole world. It’s like stepping into a warm, inviting hug. The beer list is supreme, but the staff, owners & dogs are the most amazing you’ll ever have the privilege of meeting. I would give it seventeen thousand stars if I could.

A pretty nice place for a good selection of beers. A lot of stuff on the walls about their history. The bartendress was real busy socializing with her friends there but she is an excellent multi- tasker.

The drinks flow cold and crisp. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. My friends gather here and we revel in this hallowed establishment. If you are in the Treasure Valley and are looking for a drink, there is an option here that will fit your needs. Good dogs are welcome, and for that my pooch is thankful. Food is not served here but there are snack options at the bar and Non-Alcoholic drinks for those that would rather not partake in fermented revelry. Additionally, patrons are welcome to bring food into the bar. Come to Pre-Funk, meet some good people, drink a fine brew, and stay for a while. You wont regret it!
