We are so happy we found Pawfection! Our flatcoated retriever, Hudson, has been going to his happy place since September and has had a great experience each time. He always smells great after his bath, and his fur is trimmed properly. This is really hard to do especially for flatcoats, as they are not a very common breed. The owners are also very nice, and I can tell they are really passionate about what they do and they care about the dogs they groom. They always give treats, toys, and bandanas to our boy. Phenomenal experience! We were first time customers today. We brought our 6 month old Sheepadoodles and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will be back! We sat and talked about our dogs and their coats prior to the grooming, like a consultation for a haircut! Clearly educated individuals. This dog grooming business is the best in Louisville and I have been to many. I have (before they passed) 2 standard doodles and a mini. They have never poodled my doodles. They are attentive to everything I request, I never am guilted if my at home grooming is lacking. Their prices are some of the best in town with no upcharges for anything including medicated shampoos etc. They manage all types of dogs, even my anxious and aggressive one with equal care. My foster dog strutted out of his nail trim like he’d just been pampered by a celebrity stylist. The groomer was so gentle and sweet with him that I briefly wondered if my dog was about to ditch me for his new best friend. They do a really fantastic job. They made us feel comfortable with the whole process. This was my first time going to a groomer and my little guy needed. They provided after care steps and it was really a pleasurable experience. My little guy smelled so good for a few days maybe a week afterwards. Leelee and my experiences with Kevin and Michael have been lovely. I very much appreciate that it’s an actual scheduled appointment which means she doesn’t have to be there for longer than her grooming session. Both gentlemen are friendly and communicate clearly. Had our very first groom today and it was excellent. We actually even tried to book two weeks ago but he had not fully healed from his neuter surgery (4 weeks out) and they very kindly said they couldn’t take him and didn’t even charge for a broken appointment. Our little guy has SO much fur to get through and he looks so special now. We got tips on how to better prepare him next time and Indy even gave kisses to the groomer on our way out (he’s not normally affectionate with men) so that spoke volumes to me. Loved that he was done in an hour and a half and didn’t have to spend the day there. We got a recommendation on how to cut him too! Consults for a dog, amazing, shows they care.
