Our girl came home bathed, happy, and worn out :) We usually only kennel her on long weekend trips, opting for home sitters on extended vacation. But dropped the ball on scheduling this year. Phoned a few pricey pet resorts wanting to ensure Bella was well cared for but they were all booked up. Bud at Dogwood was so kind and accommodating when I called. They took amazing care of our fur baby at less than half the cost! Family owned for more than 30 years, owners live on property and they love our pets. Our dogs are always so happy to go stay. A major plus that we love is all of their rooms are indoor and outdoor so my boy gets to relieve himself freely. No bc "luxury" extra charges for potty breaks like other places. Read more

We had a really good experience using them. My dogs came home clean and happy. The prices were great and the “cash or check” policy is very clearly marked with a huge sign on the counter. I am befuddled by the people who seem surprised. You also don’t have to pay until you pick up the dog so if you didn’t know when dropping it off, you should have seen the sign then. It seems kind of petty to give someone a bad review for that policy. I also thought that my dogs smelled better when they came home :-) people were complaining in reviews about cigarette smoke, but I did not notice a smell in the facility or on my dogs. Read more
