I tried Pawtero in Bridgeport yesterday… and let me just say, I am beyond glad that I did.My sweet poodle, Trixie, is a very anxious dog. I scheduled her with a male groomer for the first time, hoping she might be more participatory. What I learned today is that gender had nothing to do with it — it was Angel’s demeanor that made this experience such a success.Angel is incredibly kind and gentle. He truly coddled her, and Trixie absolutely ate that up. She had the best haircut of her three years of life. When I picked her up, she wasn’t crying or shaking — a HUGE win for us.Angel took the time to educate me and was patient while earning my dog’s trust. It truly doesn’t get better than this. This experience was impeccably terrific. I HIGHLY recommend Angel for his grooming services.And as if that wasn’t enough — they give you progress reports after the service. I mean… come on! This was my Shih Tzu Maxy’s very first grooming, and as a dog mom, I was nervous , but they treated him with so much patience, gentleness, and genuine love. They took their time with him, gave him so much attention, and made sure he felt safe every step of the way. You can truly feel how much they care about the dogs, not just as clients but as little souls. They listened to everything I asked for and did an absolutely beautiful job. I called Pawtero today and they were able to take my dog Luna in the same day for a haircut, which I really appreciated. Since they just opened, I wanted to support a local business and I’m so glad I did!The groomer was amazing with Luna, very gentle and patient. He followed my instructions exactly on how I wanted her haircut, and she came out looking great and smelling SO good.
