Personal Assistance Services of Colorado (PASCO) is a locally owned and operated home health agency, which has been operating since 1991, and still serves the same client/consumer who started with the company. A terrific employer, with tremendous benefits (health insurance, profit sharing, etc...) along with higher wages means that PASCO has a long tenured staff, ensuring that the consumer has continuity of care. A comprehensive 24/7, 365 Back-Up and On-Call service, provides peace of mind. Working closely with families, PASCO has been able to spearhead a program, which would train a family member (and one back-up) to become a CNA and become employed by PASCO in caring for that individual needing services. This program has helped hundreds of families, and is available for all ages (3-100). Primarily working with Medicaid recipients, Private pay is also accepted. Established in 1991. PASCO is a Colorado Home Health Agency, certified under Medicare and Medicaid to provide services to persons needing assistance with various activities of daily living. PASCO's specialty is in providing Home Health Aides/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Skilled-Nursing (RN, LPN) to persons with severe disabilities; children, adults and seniors needing long-term services... typically on a daily basis. With a long history of advocacy (through stakeholder groups, and grass root efforts) for people with disabilities, and a willingness to work with various state agencies, PASCO is well respected and influential in the community. Active in the legislative process, company representatives participate closely with related policy concerns and matters. An innovative agency, PASCO was instrumental in introducing and implementing the family member as a CNA employee component in 1999.
In 2013, PASCO provided over 1.3 million hours of service. 97% were CNA services.
