Established in 1999. This business was started when landscape designer Gary Kennemer was approached by a palm tree nursery owner about Gary's passion for design and very unique, large scale jobs being performed. The palm tree dealer wanted to teach Gary about very special and rare palm trees that he was unable to sell to regular designers due to their lack of creativity in tropical designs and also the ability to move large trees properly.
In a very short time, Gary became very enthused with the palm tree species, history of these trees, and trying to find information in detail about palms. At the time there was little information available so Gary started studying literature from colleges, became a member of the International Palm Society, and traveling across the nation to visit with growers of different palms. An interest soon turned into an obsession.
