I don’t typically write reviews, but my extraordinary experience with Eye Care institute compelled me. I honestly didn’t think this level of competence and human-centered care still existed—but the Eye Care Institute has proven it time and time again. I came to them for a second opinion after a rushed LASIK consultation at LasikPlus, where I was “approved” in minutes and quoted double the cost. Something didn’t feel right, so I scheduled another consultation with the Eye Care Institute—and I’m grateful I did. Dr. Pattar was fantastic. He looked deeper at my results and explained that I did NOT qualify for LASIK due to a corneal defect. Instead of pushing a procedure, he gave me real medical insight, laid out my options, and even prescribed eye drops to see if my results could improve over time. Have been going here for years. I wasn’t too impressed with the previous Doctor that I was seeing, so I considered changing practices. I called for an appointment and asked if I could see a different doctor, and they were happy to accommodate. I didn’t ask for anyone particular, - to my surprise I had one of the kindest, sincere doctors I’ve ever met. Dr. McEntire, actually asked me questions, gave me suggestions and cared.
