We believe these powers lay latent inside of you and that training and a supportive environment is all that's needed to master them. We teach adults hard style martial arts like kickboxing and mme for fitness and self defense. We teach soft style arts like Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Tao Yin to heal your body, promote good posture and alignment, and de-stress. And we teach kids the self-confidence, self-control, and physical skills they need to reach their full potential. We have dedicated classes for special needs kids and extensive backgrounds working in special education! Established in 2018. ONTA Studio began shortly after Lauren and Zach finished graduate school. Poised to become professors, they realized they would go insane if forced to sit at desks all day long. And they missed teaching kids. And felt people should be exposed to the Taoist martial arts - especially to fix bodies messed up by the daily rigors of modern life (like sitting!). And that kids needed the confidence, self-control, and physical outlet that comes with this practice. And that everyone should learn how to defend themselves in a safe, fun environment. And thus ONTA Studio was born!
