It was an extremely hot day, and suddenly my restaurant’s walk-in cooler started failing to keep the temperature low. I called SENGIX, and they showed up within 3 hours, which was already impressive. Their technicians quickly performed a full diagnostic — checking the compressor, refrigerant pressure, condenser temperature, TXV valve, defrost heating element, and evaporator fan motors. They found the issue right away: the evaporator coil was completely iced up, and the defrost heater couldn’t keep up. A thick layer of ice had built up, blocking airflow and preventing proper cooling. The root cause turned out to be an improperly adjusted TXV valve, which was not allowing the refrigerant to evaporate at the correct temperature. The techs defrosted the entire evaporator, fine-tuned the TXV valve, and restored the system back to perfect condition. Now my walk-in cooler is cooling flawlessly again. Highly recommend SENGIX — fast, knowledgeable, and professional. Thank you, guys!
