About Narwhal Yacht Charters
Narwhal Yacht Charters offers 2, 3, or 4 hour long sails along New York City's skyline aboard a lovingly restored classic sailboat! Starting and ending at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, sails are private and intimate (always 6 or less passengers) and come with bottled water, sodas, and ice. You can bring your own food and/or alcohol, as well as sync your music up to the great stereo. Typically, we sail down the Hudson River, past Lower Manhattan, and get as close the Statue of Liberty as possible. From there, we go around Governor's Island, up the East River and underneath the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges before heading back. Routes are customizable as well. Captain Eric is not only an excellent sailor, but also an excellent host and guide. We've been on several voyages and he always makes us feel at home and well cared for. The time always seems to go by too quickly. We're looking forward to the next time already.

Five stars for Narwhal Yacht Charters and for Captain Eric! I recently joined a sunset sail with Eric, with a few other New Yorker friends and had the most amazing experience. Eric is a total pro at sailing with tons of experience, he’s also he’s a fantastic storyteller, sharing unique stories about NYC history and the landmarks you pass by. Plus he's super friendly and just makes it effortless to have a fantastic time! The boat, the Genesis, is gorgeous, and offers a ton of spaces to hang out and enjoy snacks and drinks. Sailing around NYC before, this was by far the best experience, and felt very special! Highly recommend and we look forward to a future sail with Eric!

So great! We did a 3hr sunset sail as part of a company event. Most of our team members were from out of town and they LOVED it. I highly recommend this for such a team building event, but the same thing goes for any tourists visiting New York. There is no better way to see the city, but what makes it truly special is Captain Eric. His passion for sailing and knowledge of NYC history make for a truly special experience.
