About Camp Canine
Camp Canine is the premier Pet Care facility located on the Upper West Side providing Dog Daycare, Pet Boarding & Dog Grooming Services. The mission of Camp Canine is to treat every dog and cat as if he/she were our own. We are all animal lovers and pet parents and have created a place we would want for our own furry, best friends. Pets will have a fun safe place to play during the day and a secure night time environment. It is our sincere pleasure to serve our campers every day and to meet any special needs of theirs such as administering medications, providing extra treats and special care for older pups, just to name a few. Our goal is to give our clients peace of mind knowing their pampered pets will be given top notch care.

Our dog attends daycare 4 days a week and we can go to work and trust she’s okay in their care. The staff is very loving and our dog is excited to see them each day She boards there too and has positive experiences. We usually buy her a 30 minute walk. They go out 3x a day but it’s brief. The downsides are that it’s expensive if you’re not a member and the dogs do not get a lot of exercise (besides playing) unless you purchase add ons. For some dogs, they are exhausted after just playing but my dog needs more walking so it’s not ideal for her. Our membership fee was waived the first year but it’ll be too expensive once this year runs out. After writing this review, they kindly called me to let me know that they would be willing to discuss some pricing options for a membership so that our dog can continue to go there. They have very good customer service. I’ve added some photos of my dog on a walk with the staff during her boarding stay!

I cannot recommend Camp Canine highly enough! It is the first (and only) daycare my dog has ever been to, and she loves it. They have so many great add-on activities (including walks in Central Park), which make Camp Canine extra special. The staff are all very friendly and helpful—I also appreciate how easy it is to communicate with them via email. If you’re looking for a great daycare for your dog, send them to Camp Canine!

We are crazy about camp canine and it’s a wonderful organization. We’ve boarded our dog here twice and use their daycare. Our dog loves it and goes crazy. Every time he walks in the door. Staff is very friendly and they love dogs keep up the good work Luther says hello.
