In 2001, he brought that passion with him to the United States. Determined to replicate the food he loved to make, he started working as an assistant chef at a Thai Restaurant in New Jersey. Over the next couple of decades Chef Benz rose to head chef and business partner for several Thai Restaurants in New York and Connecticut. All this time, keeping a high attention to detail in the making of his food.
