Specialties: Nashoba Valley Winery is a winery that has a long tradition of producing wines from locally grown fruits and grapes. We have won over 100 national awards for our wines and produce both traditional and untraditional wines using the same approach and care as some of the finest wineries in the world. For over 30 years, Nashoba Valley has built a proud tradition of producing untraditional wines. While we are proud to now producing traditional wines like Chardonnay and Riesling, our focus remains on producing untraditional wines from fruit and grapes that can be grown locally. If you have a narrow vision of wines and do not believe that your own taste should determine what you like, then perhaps you should visit a winery that produces only Cabernet or Chardonnay. However, if you want to enjoy what you believe you like and not what someone else tells you that you should like then you will enjoy a visit to our winery. Established in 1979. Nashoba Valley Winery was born in 1978 in Summerville, Massachusetts when founder Jack Partridge's interest in fruit wines exceeded his fascination with city planning. His ambition was to buy a New England farm and make fruit-based wines from fruit grown on the farm or from farms in Massachusetts. After producing wines out of his house for 2 years, Jack rented space in a West Concord mill building. By 1980, as the business expanded, so did Partridge's desire to locate to an orchard, where he could grow a wide assortment of fruits for the wines. In 1983, Jack purchased the land in Bolton, Massachusetts and built the original wine shop, replanted the orchard and established Nashoba Valley Winery. , From 1983 until 1995, Jack Partridge lived with his family in the farmhouse until it was sold to its current owners, Rich and Cindy Pelletier.
