We hired Naim Construction to resurface the facade of our Brooklyn landmark brownstone, paint the cornice, and lay new bluestone in the front yard. The end result looks very handsome. The previous owners had replaced the floral Italianate details on the main entrance and elsewhere with simple squared elements years ago. We were worried we might not find anyone up to the task of restoring the house to match the original details, but Naim’s crew did a masterful job of sculpting flowers and volutes to match those approved by Landmarks on a neighboring house. The job was complex and took over a year to complete, but the crew was reliable and dedicated to getting the job done well. They were helpful and accommodating when we asked for changes or fixes. Naim coordinated with the window company to facilitate timely installation of the windows. He also made sure that his crew provided adequate protection where needed, for us as well as our neighbors.
