I am 55 years-old and I take guitar lessons at Music House in Humboldt Park. I played guitar from age 13-30. During Covid, I decided to pick it back up. I signed up for guitar lessons at Humbold Park with guitar teacher, Max, who is uber talented and a great teacher. I've been taking guitar lessons from Max for about 5 years now. Music House has a wide range of musical instrument and dance lessons for kids and adults. It's wonderful to have a place like Music House in the neighborhood where kids and adults can pursue their musical interests. For anyone looking for music or dance lessons for their kids, or an adult like me who wants to pursue a musical instrument, Music House is the place for you.

We love this place. My son has been going here for his private piano lesson for 3 years now. The front desk persons are very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Always quick and efficient with any scheduling concern. The piano teacher, Ms. Hedy, is the best piano teacher ever (quote: my kid). She is very patience, super nice and understanding and know what it takes handling a 9 year old perfectionist kid. My family appreciate all the staffs here at Music House Humboldt Park. Highly recommend this place.

My kids have done music house classes and camps at the Humboldt Park location for the past six years. We love all their offerings and the staff is so kind and responsive! They also do after school programs at our school and it has been a great experience all around. My daughters have taken private lessons with several different teachers and they’ve loved it. The programming is so well organized and we enjoy going to the recitals and performances. Thank you for providing high quality performing arts education to kids in our community!

If your child is looking for a more advanced theatre experience, Music House is the place. It’s the only children’s theatre in the city that I’ve found that produces true, full-length productions with shows that feel polished and professional. The environment is supportive of all talent levels. There's a show for everyone. The directors and choreographers have professional experience and focus on building confidence and strengthening skills. My daughter really appreciates being surrounded by other kids who enjoy theatre as much as she does and take their roles seriously. The productions are worth the ticket price. We’re grateful to have found Music House and highly recommend it to families seeking a meaningful theatre experience.

We love Music House. We brought our baby here so we could join in and make music with other families lead by a fantastic instructor through the delightful Music Together program. It’s still some of our favorite “kids” music to listen to. It gave my kid a good foundation for participating and learning the basics of music. We spend a lot of time with Music House and we have been doing so for years. Our investment in our kiddo has been well worth it, since she has learned tremendously in the last 7 years and has had a lot of fun with her teachers. We plan to continue enrolling her at Music House, and she aspires to teach there someday. The teachers are fantastic, the support staff is fantastic, and Music House engages tons of kids on so many different levels. It's a wildly ambitious school, covering classical music lessons, dance, theater, visual arts, and there's always a ton going on, and a ton to try out. There are so many great communicators working for Music House, and you can tell that the instructors really care about their students. As big as Music House has gotten, it never stops feeling like a family business, and that is very much to their credit.
