In October 2005, Dr. Cheshire and his wife, Meredith left Long Island, NY to start their own practice in The Villages, FL. They named their company Mulberry Oriental Medicine and focused on Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs.
As their practice grew, The Cheshire's found that there were many facets of healthcare missing in The Villages. Patients started asking about different ways to conquer pain and different, more natural ways to take care of themselves. They started to search for other practitioners in the area that would follow their lead and mission: "Give the patient the best healthcare and education so when they leave our offices they are empowered with good health and knowledge."
In 2008, Mulberry Oriental Medicine moved to Lake Sumter Landing in The Villages. In 2009, they changed their name to Mulberry Integrative Medicine to reflect more of what the company actually promo
