Late night disaster, main drain clogged rendering all toilets, showers, sinks, ...etc. unable to drain. Called Mr. Rooter dispatch and within 40 min a tech (Jay Akers) was onsite. He made several attempts to clear the blockage with an air auger but concluded it would need a hydro-jet application - which requires a two man crew. Jay and crew returned promptly at 9:00 AM and prior to starting the hydro-jet process scoped the drain with a camera which unfortunately revealed a much worse problem - root intrusion in the main drain - but luckily outside - which Jay quickly located with the help of some high-tech gear. After calling it in Jay had us on the schedule for main drain excavation the following morning, but fortunately Jay was able to make it back out by 4:30 THE SAME DAY and had the problem completely resolved by 5:45 (clean-up and everything). Could not be happier with the service provided by Mr. Rooter, Jay and his team.

Jay and his crew of Brody and Jason arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and got to work. The issue turned out to be much more complicated than I had hoped and required penetrating part of a concrete pad and digging down to find the line. The drainage line to the septic tank had developed a crack and allowed roots to invade the line. The roots had prevented some paper products to pass and a clog had developed resulting in a backup into the house. The cracked pipe was cut out and replaced with a cleanout so that if a blockage develops in the future, it will be easy to wash away. The crew filled in the hole, removed the destroyed material from the pad, cleaned up their tools, and left the premises.

Used Mr. Rooter this week to upgrade a water monitoring and emergency cutoff system as well as a lead content water check. Arthur came out on a very flexible schedule which worked well for me, with a 1hr call ahead to let me know he was on the way. Cost was reasonable and service was excellent, finished in less than 2hrs. Will continue to use them for future projects.
