About White Hall Arts Academy
The White Hall Arts Academy (WHAA) is a nonprofit performing and visual arts education facility located in South Los Angeles. Founded in 2011, by Berklee College of Music alumna Tanisha Hall, the WHAA offers a blend of classical and contemporary arts training to children and adults of all ages. The White Hall Arts Academy, has instructed over 5,000 students through private lessons offered in studio and online. The WHAA has a global reach to students in Australia, India, Denmark, the Netherlands, China and throughout the United States. Success stories include students who have appeared on numerous movies, commercials and television series such as American Idol and The Voice.

Such a beautiful place! Unpretentious, beautiful community with a high level of training available. Everything from fun group classes to high level individual sessions in music, dance or performance programs. Highly recommend!

Ms. Tanisha is the kindest person I have met in my life. I started going to WHAA when I was in 2nd grade and I’m in high school now. She is very supportive and you learn so much from her in just one sitting. She has taught me piano and voice personally. But I have taken other classes with White Hall. Ms. Anna and Ms. Sarah are just as amazing. From them I learned to play the violin and how to use a stage well during a performance. I love the people at WHAA with my entire heart. If you are looking for music classes for your child, I strongly recommend White Hall Arts Academy for its variety of classes and it’s wonderful people.

Being a student st WHAA, my son has gotten auditions on a few television competitions, including but not limited to gospel as well as other genres, parts in plays, etc. BUT he just loves to sing. If you or your child is seeking to be the best then i highly recommend White Hall Arts Academy.

We have been so impressed with Tanisha and her team. Because of her work our daughter nailed her audition to LACHSA and will be attending next year. Our son is also shining as a new drummer! Tanisha has a broad network and understands the music landscape. We are forever grateful to have found Tanisha and the White Hall Arts Academy!
