Established in 1885. The Millis Public Library was founded in 1885 and was originally housed in a room in the top floor of the Millis Train Station. In the 1960s, the Library got its own building on Auburn Street. In 2013, the Library moved to its current location, an 18,000 square foot building located at 961 Main Street (Route 109).
Today, most people in Millis are Library patrons. In 2017, the Library recorded over 105,000 visits - the equivalent of every Millis resident visiting the Library at least once per month.see more
