Another great place and in a prime location of Hollywood. We got to see the House Band run through their set for later in the afternoon at the Whiskey at the Musicians Institute. This is like heaven for a musician. Musicians Institute has everything you could want whether it be singing/songwriting or learning to DJ you can learn it here. We learned on the tour they offer several options from certificates to full blown degrees. The room they got to perform in had a great set-up. The sound was great and there was plenty of seating and a decent size stage. We met a few of the Staff and Instructors and everyone was great. They took the time to show the kids around and explain what the Institute has to offer. The parents also got a tour of the facilities and they are quite impressive. One thing we noticed (which may seem odd) was the cork boards around the campus. They had fliers and posters for upcoming events and artists looking for other artists. We thought this was amazing because whethe

I love Musicians Institute. I have been going here for almost 3 years now and I have gained so much knowledge and experience from my program as a music business student. I love all the professors and the staff is so kind and willing to help out. I also really enjoy the curriculum, it feels very modern and updated to today’s industry. 10/10 would recommend.

lots of famous rock musicians including John Frusciante and Chad Smith went to this school. I wish I could have been one of them!

I've been a student at M.I. since October and I'm having the time of my life. I just hope they reopen the Hollywood Blvd entrance soon so I'll stop getting harassed by the Scientologists whenever I walk past the Church of Scientology on my way to my car.

Patience, patience, patience. I went here in 2017 for the independent artist program. This is when I first started getting into producing my own music. Yes, I thought I would come here and would immediately get my songs on movies and TV. This was not the case. However, this school will give you what you put into it! I learned very much from here, spent almost 10 years grinding, not getting any traction. But finally, within the last two years, I finally am getting placements on major streaming services (my goal going into the school). My advice is STAY in LA, after you graduate! They aren't nessisarly gonna "hand out" contracts and all that. But if you DON'T GIVE UP you got thisss!!!!

We had the pleasure to meet with Eddie from the administration office. Great tour, a prime location, and offers all you can possibly dream of as a musician/student. No parking but there's plenty of other types of transportation. There's a $100 application fee for applying to the school.
