We had such a great experience thanks to our two waiters! Chantel and Renan. They were both friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfectly. I was running a group event at the Robert Treat Hotel and on check-out day, I told the individuals to come as they pleased to Medallion for breakfast. The place was pretty empty so seating was not an issue. The staff was really friendly and accommodating as I stayed there from 8am - noon, and the individuals in my group were coming and going. Besides the endless cup of hot coffee, I had the oatmeal and fruit plate which was more than enough to eat. The fruit was fresh and delicious and the meal was filling. Others ordered more traditional breakfast foods - eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, etc. and everyone was satisfied with the tastes. The prices were a little bit on the high side, but overall it was a really pleasant experience. Our team had reservations earlier today, Joseph our server was amazing, he saved the day! The food was okay , but I was disappointed to learn that house items such as the calamari, the chicken parmigiana, and the surf and turf were unavailable during our visit. For that reason, I’m leaving a four-star review. However, Joseph’s excellent service and thoughtful plate recommendations truly elevated the experience to what felt like five-star hospitality. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and generously served, with every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding — very personalized, with a staff that was clearly well-trained and attentive.The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, making it the perfect spot for our Sunday lunch. What a fantastic night at Medallion Steak House & Seafood. The food was beyond incredible — honestly, out of this world. But the standout for us was our waiter, Carlos. I wasn't aware the restaurant was in a hotel and it was a little hard to locate. But, my wife and I are glad we found it. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet. Our server, Joseph did his job well. We didn't have to wait all evening for our food. It was brought to us promptly and the presentation was excellent. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And again, kudos to Joseph for his service. I had the t-bone, mashed potatoes, asparagus and rice w/bean sauce. My wife ordered steak w/onions and french fries. We both had salads. All foods were cooked to perfection. Very tasty. If there's a negative to our visit, it's the portions are large. I'm a big eater and I had to carry home leftovers. To much food. Food was good. Well seasoned and fresh. Our server was kind and accommodating. There was a slight language barrier for us (no one in my party spoke Portuguese), but it all worked out. Hidden gem! 💎 I never try hotel restaurants but I figured I’d give it a go since I’m here for a bit.Carlos was amazing and provided great service and recommendations. I ordered a Malbec, a Caesar salad, and the T-bone steak. Both were very good! The steak was cooked appropriately (I refuse to eat anything overdone). The paella was as super tasty as it was generous - I felt like I had kept eating it as it went on forever (which is important to me).. unfortunately no frond, but still an awesome dish.. my partner got a shrimp salad which was also quite generous . And I topped it all with a flan.. so decadent and good ! !
