We hire homeless youth for a job training program. We have a fully handicap accessible space. We have Drag Storytimes and support the LGBTQ+ community in general. We support drug and alcohol sobriety organizations. We host religious classes for all world religions. We have regular coffee events with veterans. We host finance and mechanical classes for teenagers. We donate to local events and fundraisers. We have Alaskan author events several times a month. We invited rape victims, drug addicts, veterans with PTSD and convicted murders to have a talking panel for community engagement. We don't censor books, we read them to understand the world differently than we know it. WE SUPPORT HUMANITY and that, my friends, has no political agenda.

Stopped out at this book shop! I feel in love immediately! Amazing staff, great book selections with fair prices. I really like the local authors and Alaska made section. Would recommend stopping by here any chance you get.
