I am ecstatic there is now a clean, respectable resource for people to get good, fresh, reasonably priced food within walking distance. I'm driving less and will be walking more ... right to this, my new grocery store! 604 Ellis Blvd NW.

This place has the absolute best meat, hands down, that you will find in Cedar Rapids at the price points offered. Literally after eating their NY Strip, I passed out in a food coma until 4 AM on my couch. The produce is so fresh, and everything is so affordable! The food is healthy. Honestly it reminds me of New Pioneer but not outrageously expensive and with helpful and nice employees. Oh! They have roasted chickens! They are delicious and cheap - and they offer call-ahead for pickup. Love this place, shop here 2-3 times a week!!! Positive impact on neighborhood too!!

Love it!! It's a GREAT place for meats, fruits and vegetables. The Home made salads are amazing and the meals that are made up are delicious and healthy. Baked goods do run expensive haven't tried them since they're out of my budget but I'm sure they are fantastic! Everyone NEEDS to go check it out you will not be disappointed 🥰 …

As a native of CR it is amazing the work & remodeling that has taken place here. It seems so unreal. The staff was incredibly friendly. Had plenty of suggestions on different products. Fresh produce for FREE! Simple hot food items available. All fresh meat. I have never seen such fresh looking pieces of raw meat. This store needs so much more hype. Absolutely amazing! Parking is not the best, but so worth it.

This is the perfect little neighborhood store! It has everything you might need in a pinch and the prices are reasonable. They even have a decent selection of locally-made options! The workers are all so friendly and you can really tell that they care about the community. I’m so glad to have a convenient option in my neighborhood. It’s nice not having to go to the big grocery stores. They even provide free produce for those in need!

This is always a great stop for us. There were lots of garden fresh veggies. Has some of everything for a neighborhood store. Good quality meat. They have rotisserie chicken that is very good. Premade meals and daily specials. There are a few tables and chairs to dine in. Reminds me of childhood. Friendly workers as well!!

Thoughtful, kind, kind staff! Really great prices - better than hyvee and many others. The mission is wonderful - your can round up to add to the pay it forward model for those who may be in need, and the free produce in the corner is the coolest. The Corner Store shouldn't just be for the neighborhood, it's DESTINATION!

Just got an 8 oz of Tuscan creamy soup & had to make a review IMMEDIATELY because HOLY CRAPOLI this is like one of the best soups I’ve ever eaten. (I consider myself a soup connoisseur this is a big deal)

This place has held up my families nutrition from produce many times from the free corner. Having a child with dietary restrictions, this is gold. Cheapest place in town for bread & other items. And is always willing to price match! This corner store is so underappreciated for all that they do. I hope it becomes a staple store to many others soon 🙏

This is a new store and it had its grand opening and block party yesterday. My son said that he wanted to go and I thought that would be a good idea and so we both went. It's a great place. We went first into the store and saw one of the volunteers there. She explained that this is a non-profit store. Its intention is to provide lower-cost food for people directly in this area. The fact that they only charge for the cost and not for their own profit helps with that. They need to make up for that with volunteerism and donations. One of the things you can do is at the register donate up to the nearest dollar. She also said that money goes to pay for food from their own stock and it goes into a free food refrigerator pantry. I was impressed with the quantity and quality of food for sale. They had good beers and I sampled their wines outside the store. Very good. I think some of their food vegetables and so on are from their own locally grown Matthew 25 Garden. They also have things li
