I took a group of students to the museum on a Thursday morning. The staff provided a wonderful orientation of the exhibits before our tour started. It really helped my students enjoy the experience so much more! We learned so much about the role of US Marshals through our nations history. The exhibits are grouped by time period and packed with information. There were interactive exhibits that both students and adults could enjoy! Fort Smith Coffee Co operates the museums cafe. It had delicious coffees and light food options. The museum atrium and cafe have fantastic views of the river. This museum exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways. The flow and effort put into the exhibits was very evident. The visual storytelling was great. Very impressive exhibit! Informative, interesting and imaginatively presented. We saw children there who were equally as interested. The facility is new and well maintained. They have a coffee shop that also has non coffee refreshments and some pre packaged foods. The building shape and metal sculptures were nicely done. Personnel were friendly and helpful.
