I don't know if it is a practice to support truck drivers to backup to the door because of the tight space for an 18 wheelers rig, but I must confess my admiration for the way receiving team helped me when backing to the door. They were patient with me and showed understanding that the problem is the insufficient space for the type of my truck, 53 inches trailer and a tractor with sleeper. Afterwards, when I questioned one of them why they didn't think of this kind of situation, he told me the building was built more than 100 years ago when today's trucks were not in vogue. It can be reasoned that it is not their fault but I will suggest and encourage them to think of acquiring a warehouse outside of Philadelphia where trucks can easily deliver, from where supplies can then be moved to the headquarters. Kudos and thanks to everyone who came out to assist me, making it easy for me to get unloaded in good time.

Att!!! Truckers!!! Fast unload… pull into driveway park walk to shipping n they open gate pull all the way back turn around for alley dock.. just careful with nose of tractor pulling 53’ receiving dock wide just not long enough…

Att!!! Truckers!!! Fast unload… pull into driveway park walk to shipping n they open gate pull all the way back turn around for alley dock.. just careful with nose of tractor pulling 53’ receiving dock wide just not long enough…
