Excellent service. I took my bike there because the gears were stuck. Jose, who is also the owner, diagnosed rapidly the issue, and he had the part spare. He adjusted my bike gears and brakes for flawless operation, and he didn't just wash my bike, but he polished it.The store is clean, and there are a lot of bikes and parts for bikers of all types and levels. I absolutely will be back for all my bike needs.

Stopped by the Maplewood Bike Shed earlier this week while checking out local spots for my new e-bike. Met Jose on my first visit—super welcoming and helpful. He told me about some bone-conducting headphones, and I said I’d come back to check them out.When I came back, what I wanted was out of stock, but another employee suggested an alternate version and even applied an online/Instagram discount so I got a better price. Ended up grabbing the headphones, and I’m loving them.

I was in and out quickly and as I was having a great conversation with them both the owner fixed my original inner tube, replaced my flat and restarted my morning off right. I’m new to e-biking and have checked out a few shops, but Maplewood Bike Shed is the one that feels like home. The staff are always friendly, and I’ve never walked in to find the place empty—there’s always a steady stream of riders coming through, which says a lot.They’re plugged into the community with group rides and events, and the prices for installs and maintenance are more than fair. Every time I stop in, I feel taken care of. This is where I’ll be going for all my bike work.
