Specialties: Mallove's Jewelers has serviced southeastern Connecticut for over 96 years. Known for engagement rings and wedding bands alike and conveniently located in the Utopia Plaza in Waterford, we strive to ensure that all customers receive personal attention and confidential advice when making this important lifetime purchase. We offer custom work using the CAD design process and all special order pieces are overseen by owner, Jim Mallove. Mallove's allows you to experience why it is essential that "If you don't know your diamonds, know your jeweler."
You will find the same service and emphasis on relationships with our customers at our Mystic location, Mallove's of Mystic, at 1 Cottrell Street. There, the expert staff will help you choose your ring from our impressive selection or design a custom engagement ring or wedding band.
Both stores offer an array of fine jewelry including silver, gold, pearls and watches. Enter our website to see a full list of our designers.
Our beautiful high-quality pieces along with our high-quality customer service will quickly prove why we've been the premier jeweler of the area for nearly a century. Established in 1919. In 1919, two married Russian immigrants, Morris and Goldie Mallove, opened their first jewelry store in a tiny shop on 111 Bank St in New London, CT. By 1930, business allowed them to expand to a larger shop at 48 State Street. The couple finally moved and stayed at the well-known location, 74 State Street, in 1942. As the business changed into the hands of Morris and Goldie's son, Harvey, and then the hands of Harvey's son, Jim, it has continued to be a jewelry destination for generations of local customers.
The Mallove name has been synonymous with quality and customer service throughout its evolution, which has proudly taken the store to its current location at Boston Post Road in Waterford and to its satellite store at 1 Cottrell Street in Mystic, CT.
