Dr. Verma began his studies at the University College Medical Sciences in Delhi, India. Before moving to the United States, he trained vigorously in the fields of anesthesiology, pain management, and critical care medicine in India and the United Kingdom. He also received advanced clinical training in anesthesiology at several hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts, before eventually settling in Connecticut to begin his formal career as an anesthesiologist. After working as an attending anesthesiologist for almost a decade, Dr. Verma moved back to India for three years, following his passion for helping and giving back to society. There he worked as an administrator to help improve the health system in a leading hospital, besides personally providing medical advice and services free of charge to the underprivileged population.
