JR's Rhodehouse BBQ PIT was established in 2013 in Piedmont South Dakota. An arson fire took the basement in late summer of 2014. We then moved into the local VFW in downtown Rapid City, SD for a few months, but now we solely cater and do weekend orders. We were lucky enough to make it into Johnny Fugitt's book in 2015 The 100 Best Barbecue Restaurants in America and were named as #22. We were also fortunate enough to host Adam Richman (Man vs Food Guy), and his crew from the travel channel to our Bbq catering gig at Scott Peterson Motors, BHSU Jacket Ride over the 76th Annual Sturgis Bike Rally.
