First time coming here, really nice bread variety is amazing, fresh and delicious. I would’ve put 5 stars but I got a sad feeling to presence the kind of treatment the cashiers were doing to the guy who makes the bread. I think if they don’t like what he’s doing they can talk to him aside and not in front of the customers. Kind words are always better!

We go to this bakery almost once a week especially for the Banana chocolate Croissant. I also liked cinnamon roll but very pricey for what it is I thought. (Overall, everything is pricey compared to the mass produced ones, of course....) The Anpan is ok, if you prefer sweet beans to be very sweet, you will like theirs. Since the Anpan bread is already sweet, I find it is too sweet for me. We like their wheat bread, country bread and baguette which we buy on regular basis. Breads are baked fresh onsite and the shop has wonderful smell.

Update: the matcha azuki is their best if you like that kind of flavor Original review : Love this place. Family white bread is awesome especially when it just came out of oven. Also you can choose how thick you want the slice to be. Go with 1 for sandwiches, 2.5 for Japanese toast. Garlic bread is so good to get if you cooking pasta. You gotta toast it at home to melt the butter. Besides the family bread, my favorites are yakisoba pan, corokke pan, curry pan, chocolate melon pan,

I would rate it higher if I could. Everything we tried was fresh and excellent, and we tried a lot. The glazed donuts are the best donuts of any variety I’ve ever had, and the croissants have a perfect texture/flavor. Our kids are three pepperoni pizza breads and we tried different dessert pastries. Strongly recommend you try them!

Saw this cute bakery with the NOW OPEN sign and decided to give it a try. I bought a loaf of raisin bread and they offer to slice it to your desired thickness. It was so soft and yummy! The kids loved their chocolate chip muffin and ther cream (custard) pastry. I will have to come by for their raisin bread again and to try their sweet and savory bakery items!

One of the OG bakeries in Honolulu, Epi-Ya changed owners during COVID but is still going strong. I've visited this bakery whenever I need dinner butter rolls or pastries for work. They offer a large variety of pans, buns, and rolls at reasonable prices. Like most bakeries, grab a tray, tongs and wax paper near the entrance before you start grabbing your pastries. Out of respect dont take a pastry and put it back. Grab what you will buy. I highly recommend this place. The service is often slow, even when it's busy, but the amazing smell and vast bread options give you plenty of time to wander around until you're ready to buy. I was going to take more pictures inside but it was a busy day.

Nice bakery with a large selection of different pastries. We have bought various savory pastries there a couple of times and liked all of them. If you want to grab a delicious wiener roll or ham roll, definitely give it a try.

Nice bakery but I think it would've taste better if I came earlier when it's fresh out the oven. The shio butter roll was pretty good. I like that they use real sausage for the weiner roll. A lot of ppl came in for loaves of bread rather than the items on display.
