Great, honest mechanic. I've brought my 2015 Audi S5 in for routine maintenance and custom work (full exhaust). The pricing and work are both excellent. Recently, the dealership had told me my brakes were less than 20%, so 6 months later I brought my car here to have them changed. I had an appointment, an agreed upon price, and dropped my car off. They (Import Masters) called me to tell me that my brakes were fine (50%) and to not do anything unless I was experiencing issues, which I was not. They could have performed the maintenance and made money, but instead were honest with me. I wouldn't have had a clue! Hard to find honest mechanics...this is one you want to do business with.

Our Volkswagen Jetta suddenly stopped working. It had also been shifting very rough. We had to have it towed to a dealership but Volkswagen in the Northland held on to it for 2 weeks without even a diag or any communication!! We called Import Masters and they got us right in. They diagnosed after a couple of days and had it repaired and back to us in a week. They communicated every step of the way which meant a lot to us since we were eager to have it back for our family. They are super honest. We had transmission issue but instead of replacing the whole transmission they said it was the seals. This saved us tons of money!! Thank you so much to our mechanic, she was so helpful!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone in KC!!!!

Amy goes above and beyond!! I asked for a quote after getting incorrect information from another shop (recommending that I get a timing belt replacement when my car does not actually have a belt but a chain), and Amy kindly and humbly corrected that mistake and pushed me in the right direction! The shop is so communicative and clear -- I recommend them to anyone in KC, but especially those that have ever felt intimidated or misled by other shops!

I’m super thankful I found this shop. I had called around different places to get my Audi fixed because it was having a coolant leak issue and most places would turn me down because they didn’t work on Audi. I found this place and they took me in. I got my Audi fixed ( they replaced two items in my coolant system) and I had my car ready in 2 days. Runs good now and leak is gone

My 2018 Audi was throwing a code for RPM/Coolant malfunction, called Importmasters and they did a diagnostic test on it. Found out it was my water pump, they replaced it and were so easy to communicate with. Larry sent a personal text after the service was completed to make sure my car was running good. Great experience, highly recommended!

I'm not a fan of Audi dealers and the team at Importmasters was able to help me avoid them entirely. I needed a newly installed steering module recalibrated which is typically a dealer only service but they were able to perform all the necessary steps to properly recalibrate my new module and get me on my way. I'll definitely go back!

FYI: The review below was for the previous owner (Mike), I have not yet been back to the current owners shop. I have taken my Passat here several times and have always received good service and a fair price. The owner will even discuss DIY repairs if you want to make some of the repairs yourself. I don't mind doing most things that do not require special tools or are beyond my ability, and he is cool with that as a fellow enthusiast. I gave only 4 stars because I have not been there too often, and don't feel I can warrant this rating yet, but I am taking my car back this week and will update then. Definitely recommend!! Changed to 5-stars as this is the only place I take my VW for service and they have always done it right the first time for a fair price. Thanks guys. Update: I have been here a few times since my initial review and I think they rate a 5. Mike is very straight-forward and honest about all repairs, and I don't easily trust car repair people.

I dropped off my Mercedes for a steering wheel fix and they quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and fixed it. In addition, they gave the car a hard look and did find a cracked rear coil spring. This was unexpected but appreciated very much as I had just repaired a bent rim on that wheel and obviously it was bent because of bad spring. I will use them again for sure.

I’ve been taking my car to Importmasters for the last two years and my experiences have been nothing but great. Their prices are fair and I’ve had zero issues with their work. They recently performed a piston ring soak as my older model suv which had been consuming a lot of oil between oil changes. The issue has completely resolved. I’d recommend them to anyone.
