I am that person, that person who didn't have their computer plugged into a surge protector. I never thought our house would be hit by lightning. Our mac desktop was fried. I didn't really know where to take it and found Hypertech in a search. I wasn't very optimistic that any of my photos could be recovered. They recovered ALL of my photos and documents!!! They put everything on a portable drive and disposed of my computer too. I am so thankful!

They quoted me a fair price and never pressured me to buy a new PC, which I did anyway because the owners, Victor and Brenda, are honest and knowledgeable. They always have a great selection of reconditioned PCs and new accessories. I have also been to Hypertech many times for repairs, and my computers have always worked much better afterward. They are great people and great to do business with!

The people of Hypertech went above and beyond my expectations. The case for my laptop was broken on the hinges and I could no longer close my laptop. I though my laptop was done for and I seriously considered a replacement. However, my wife suggested I get it looked at and see if it is fixable. I Took it to Hypertech down the street from where I live (2 miles), they diagnosed the problem, told me it is fixable and I just need a new case. The case and labor cost was less than half the cost of a new laptop. Victor ordered a new case and his vendor replied it will be January 2026 before they receive the replacement (it's now 12/11/25, Thursday). That was not good enough for Victor. He contacted the vendor; he called me back later to informed me that the part will be in the following week. On Monday 12/15 I got a call that the new case is in and to bring in the laptop. By Wednesday it was repaired. Amazing. And it was a very reasonable price. Wow. I highly recommend their service.
