Specialties: Welcome to Hope Ranch, where we invite you to experience the magic of our special piece of land in Hood River, Oregon. We love visitors of all ages. Whether you are looking forward to a gentle stroll or boundlessly skipping through the lavender field, we would love to have you join us on the farm. We hope the beautiful views and the sweet fragrance in the air will put a smile on your face. Hope Ranch in Hood River, Oregon is set in the heart of the Hood River Valley. Our lavender field is a few minutes from downtown Hood River and has clear double mountain views of Mt. Hood and Mt.Adams. You can also find us at HopeRanchLavender.com or on the Hood River Fruit Loop map at hoodriverfruitloop.com. We look forward to meeting you and your family this summer on the farm. Established in 2009. In 2009 we used all of our savings and bought our home and ranch in Hood River. As first generation farmers, we knew little about farming and had a minimal amount of money. What we did have was a passion and a drive to work the land. We started a family and tended to our property by farming hay and breeding cows for beef. We worked hard doing the work ourselves with babies at our side. In 2019, we broke ground on our lavender farm dream. It started out smoothly, but in 2020 we lost most of our plants and Mike was diagnosed with brain cancer. We were well supported by our fantastic community who came out to help us farm and feed our family. Since then there have been seasons of healing, replanting and getting our lavender business to flourish. We are determined to see our lavender farm grow and thrive through our tough seasons. We continue to farm our hay fields, beef cows, chickens and our gorgeous lavender field. Our three children enjoy living and working alongside us on the farm.
