We did a substantial remodel mid-2019, tearing out a kitchen partition wall for an open floor plan with our living and dining areas, and new wood floor, lighting, stair railings, appliances, countertops, and cabinets (including a new island). We bought our cabinets at Home Clearance Center, with Marcia Yost as our designer. We are delighted with the results, and Marcia was terrific to work with.When we finally decided to do this after talking about it for years, my wife wanted to get it done before the end of July. An interior designer we were talking with just wasn’t as responsive as we wanted. After meeting with Marcia, we decided we didn’t need the interior designer. Marcia was extremely prompt and responsive throughout the entire process, producing a 3D computer rendering of our cabinets and island, with price quote, less than a week after our first meeting. I am detail-oriented, and there were a lot of meetings and emails after that to fine-tune the design and specs. Marcia was al
