I was visiting New Orleans for a week, and the Ochsner Fitness Center was nearby and had the classes I wanted. I attended two - Body Combat and Cardio Kickboxing - and had a fabulous time! The instructor was good, the workout was intense, and the people are wonderful! It was a little hard fort me to find the entrance, but I called up and they gave me directions. Nice clean place, good equipment, great staff -- if I lived here, I'd go three times a week! And very inexpensive, too. Read more

Kind of confusing to find, but once I did it had all I needed for leg day. I had searched for a “gay friendly” gym and this came up on the internet, but it didn’t feel very gay to me. So if you’re looking for a scene, this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for a functional place to get your workout in with no waiting, this is your place. Read more

It’s spotlessly clean and not at all crowded. Take a padlock with you for the locker. The staff are absolutely lovely. Stephanie is one of the nicest people and there’s excelente customer service.
