The whole place has some old-fashioned overtones such as whole country hams, glass-bottled milk where you get $1 back when you return the bottle, etc. Modern amenities too. Huge organic section, wide variety of beers you can purchase by the can or bottle, and sometimes they even have a huge grill out front with attractively priced burgers and brats. hard to find something like this in a city...or anywhere anymore. Has your essentials, all up charged 50-100%, but sometimes you can find some goods that aren’t totally overpriced. I am not going to share my shopping strategies for this place (what days to shop, etc.) though. Valu and Kroger are the two places I walk to, to buy stuff for late night recipes. So, I’m not going to blow up my own spot, so to speak, heh It’s possible to find good deals here though! Just be sure to sign up for their valumarket card, which is something I have yet to do, because the only way you can is by signing up at the front kiosk, and I am very embarrassed and shy when it comes to stuff like that, idk.
