About Gato Salon
Gato Salon is a cat grooming service exclusively for cats utilizing unique holistic and interactive techniques. It’s grooming without restraints of any kind and completely sedation-free while communicating with the cat, being sensitive to the cat’s tendencies, muscle movement, and breathing to minimize the stress levels of the cat during the grooming session. After grooming my own cats for 15 years, I decided to turn my love and passion for cats into a career and become a professional cat groomer. I received training in Seoul over several months and ultimately earned a professional cat groomer certification. My mission is to make cats look amazing while prioritizing their physical and mental well-being.

Eliya is by far the best cat groomer in Los Angeles. We took our 11 year old persian cat to her after our previous groomer was no longer working. It was the best decision made for our cat. She was a joy to meet and talk to and was just wonderful with our baby. No issues handling her extra weight and older aged skin. My cat was super comfortable with her and was sleeping soundly as we drove back home. Highly recommend Gato Salon for any type of cat you have. Will continue to be a loyal customer. Eliya is truly an expert in cat grooming, she takes wonderful care of both of my Persian cats. She is very communicative during the process and it’s clear that she is a true animal lover. Both times I took my kitties in, she gave them the cutest haircuts, and handled their stubborn, matted fur with care. When I picked them up, they looked absolutely incredible. And she even did photo shoots for both of them as well. She truly is the best cat groomer in LA, 10/10 recommend!

I brought my sweet Lily here for her first grooming and it was such a positive experience. Eliya is truly a gem — kind, gentle, honest, and clearly passionate about what she does. She provides a soothing, safe environment that puts both pets and owners at ease. She’s very reasonably priced, and what impressed me most was her honesty. Instead of trying to upsell or push frequent appointments, she recommended Lily come back in 4–6 months. That level of integrity is rare!
