Best mechanic shop in the area! Call them, most stuff completed in a few days. Fred, the owner, is one of the nicest most straightforward guys I ever met. Not only that but every time I go in, he ALWAYS asks about my wife and father in law, (great memory). In all transparency I am an auto insurance adjuster and have worked with Freds as many customers repair facility. I do not work for them and other than our jobs overlapping I am not affiliated with them nor am I writing this in any official capacity. But I have never ever had a complaint about the work there or the treatment by the staff and even if I tried I don't think I could find a problem that any customer has had or me as an adjuster. They do a great job advocating for the customer while working with insurance carriers and parts vendors. I would trust them with any of my vehicles any day! Went to Fred's on the recommendation of my body shop (Luis Auto Body- also fantastic) and was incredibly happy with my experience. I ended up dropping the car off late at night (unannounced), received a call first thing the next morning to discuss the issue, got a fair quote, and a new starter was installed in a matter of hours. Friendly and excellent service, swift and clear pricing. Value for money. We have been coming here for years with minor and major work (blown A/C hoses, dead alternator, complete fuel tank replacement). Joe the office manager and Ray the garage manager are nice and super quick, and Fred the owner (an actual person) is also nice. Recommend calling in advance if possible, they are popular!
