Our boiler died during the holidays, leaving our tenants without heat. Tom Kucharski and Victoria (office) at 5-star are so professional and got us the estimate quickly and their’s was the best price we received. Tom and his crew were clean, thorough, and they stayed working extra hours to get it done quickly knowing that the temperatures were freezing at night. The inspector said the newly installed boiler looked perfect! I’m having 5-star do the annual maintenance moving forward for all our HVAC needs.

I can describe this company and its technicians in four words: professional, knowledgeable, customer-obsessed, and accountable. I am confident that all of their technicians are highly competent, but I would like to specifically single out and express my gratitude to Pawel and Sergio for the phenomenal service they have provided to my unit over the past year. I live in a high-rise building in downtown Chicago with an in-unit, all-electric HVAC system. For several years, this system had been a bane of my existence, plagued by numerous electrical issues caused by years of inadequate maintenance, improper wiring, and the installation of cheap, unsuitable components by other contractors. Last year, a supposedly experienced contractor from another company installed a thermostat and a relay and performed what he claimed was “necessary” electrical rewiring. That work ultimately triggered a chain of failures that culminated in a blower malfunction and burnout. We were left without a functionin

Paul was efficient, polite, and careful with our property. Hopefully he is also a 5-star diagnostician. Update—-the job was completed today and Paul is my hero. After doing the installation he patiently reviewed everything with me and throughly tested the work. Care was taken with our home at all times. He is a great tech and a pleasure to deal with. I was also impressed that the manager of the install department came with him to review the project before starting. Five star is totally organized re scheduling, alerts, and arriving on time. Paul was efficient, polite, and careful with our property. Hopefully he is also a 5-star diagnostician. Update—-the job was completed today and Paul is my hero.
