I don’t know if Britton would care if I gave the place one star to match the name or five stars to be excessive! Either way, come to this place for a fair deal on a new bicycle, or to get your current Bicycle repaired... or for parts. Do realize that the door is a push to open... not pull. And there’s no sign outside, Which means the shop is only for insiders or those who are reading my review! One of the things I noticed is they don’t carry hardly any Schrader valve tubes here. Who uses those things anymore, anyway? I hate them. So the fact they don’t have hardly any makes me happy!

This evening I found myself five miles from home with a flat tire and no spare tubes. As I was carrying my bike home I saw the door to this shop open, though I knew it was too late for them to be open. I knocked on the door and asked if I could pretty please with sugar on top buy a tube. He could have easily told me that the shop was closed and he was leaving but he grabbed me a new (700c with Schrader valve) tube and brought his floor jack over and I was back on the road in less than five minutes flat. Much appreciated, Onestar, you have earned five stars.

These guys are good people. You get the impression that they just love bikes, and aren't trying to nickle and dime you for every minor tune up. This is the kind of place that everyone in the group ride knows despite not even having a real store front, just because of how well they treat you and your bike needs.

New to the KC area and I wandered into OneStar to replace a flat tire and get my brakes checked out. They talked me through some tire options and were able to fix the brake no problem. I dropped it off in the afternoon and was able to pick it up a few hours later. Definitely will be back the next time I need parts or work done

Onestar routinely has a collection of some of the most badass bikes in the KC area. I've bought both a new and used mountain bike from here, and both have been great. Great collection of gear and components as well, always something cool to see in the shop. Definitely double check hours before going, well worth it.

I have been dealing with these guys for a long time and they have always taken great care of me. They go above and beyond to make sure you have what you want so you can do more of what you want to do which is to enjoy riding your bike. There isn't a more knowledgeable crew in any shop as far as I'm concerned. Recently I was thousands of miles away and my favorite bike was stolen which sucks but who would think it would be so difficult to find a suitable replacement between Eureka, California and San Jose? That's when it set in how much of a jewel Onestar is.

This shop is a long drive for me and with the hours I work it's hard to get down there but when I am able to get down there it is always worth it. They have built a few wheels for me and have worked on several of my bikes. These guys are good people and genuinely love bikes. Like some of the other reviews said, they are not going to nickel and dime you. They just love bikes and are EXTREMELY knowledgable when it comes to bikes. They will also shoot you straight which I respect. Thanks for all you guys have done to keep my bikes running which has allowed me to keep riding. I appreciate you!
