Great shop with very friendly staff! The store is much bigger than it appears from the front, & they fit a lot of fabric in there. Frankfort avenue has clearly-marked parking spaces on both sides of the street, & the spaces are large, if you're worried about parallel parking. I had no trouble. They have a good selection of different styles of quilt fabric, so almost anyone will find something they like. Edit: The owner said there's also parking off the alley behind the store! Read more

I visited Cotton to Quilts after having a less than stellar experience at a different quilting shop near me, and was greeted by the sweetest, most helpful woman. I’m a beginner, and they took the time to help me select fabric, give tips, and explained about their upcoming classes. They also had a huge selection of beautiful fabrics. This is a wonderful quilt shop with lots of fabric and friendly, knowledgeable and willing-to-help staff. They have beautiful fabrics and notions to help you with any sewing projects. I recently completed their Square One Beginner Quilt Class. We learned so many details about how to piece quilt blocks and put them together. It was a great experience, and I came away with a completed quilt top. They even offer a follow-up class to help you learn how to machine quilt your project.
