Drawchange is an amazing non-profit organization to get involved with! Their art therapy-based work with impoverished children around the world is empowering for both volunteers ans children alike. I have been involved for 4 years now and have volunteered at the homeless shelters in Atlanta, in the drawchange office, at their fundraisers, and even in their Ethiopia program abroad. I cherish every moment spent with the children and the drawchange team, making powerful memories and watching the children light up while creating and sharing their artwork. I highly recommend volunteering and/or donating to this incredible organization!

Literally cannot say enough positive things about drawchange! I have been interning here for a few months and i have never had such a positive and supportive environment. The programs they cultivate for the children is amazing and much-needed in such uncertain times. Drawchange is a great organization that makes a significant impact on the children it serves. I have interned with drawchange this summer and have had the privilege to work in both the shelter programs and behind the scenes doing administrative work. When working at the shelter, I was able to witness how drawchange's art programs positively impact the emotional well-beings of the children. I have had a few moments where I was nearly brought to tears seeing the children's transformations. On the administrative side, drawchange functions like a well-oiled machine. As an intern, I was respected and given tasks that challenged me and respected my abilities. I would strongly recommend that anyone donate, volunteer, or intern with drawchange.

I recently started as an intern with drawchange, and although I haven't been here long, I can already tell you what an amazing impact drawchange has had on the children that participate in the program! The activities each week are all well thought out and tailored to the children and what they are going through in their daily lives. Activities also allow the children to think of the big picture and what their hopes and dreams for their future can be. Being an intern I also see how dedicated the whole team of drawchange is in making sure that the children are getting the best experience possible.
