What a find! Had no idea this brewery was there but was in the 95/metcalf area and popped in. Made my own 4 pack to go and the IPAs are quite good. Nice vibe in there as well. Hope to go back, have some food and chill. Recommend it!

If you’re in Overland Park or even visiting KC, this spot is a no-brainer. The owners and crew don’t just pour beer—they pour hospitality. The brews? Smooth enough to crush, bold enough to remember. Full-flavored, easy-drinking, and straight-up man fuel. Grab a pint, pull up a stool, and thank me later. 🍺 …

Excited to have this local brewery join the neighborhood! The menu isn't big but the selection of beers and other beverages covers a lot of ground. Thoroughly enjoyed both the Splendid Sunrise (blonde coffee) and the Sinful Abyss (milk stout). Also got some Splendid Sunset (regular blonde ale) after enjoying an actual splendid sunset from the outdoor patio, perfect for winding down a summer day. The renovated interior space is clean, bright, and beautiful, even the bathroom (four totally private stalls and a communal double sink that looks out onto a courtyard). All the staff were friendly and hustled to keep up with the steady flow of customers checking out the place. Highly recommend grabbing some delicious Thai food from Bangkok Pavilion nextdoor to complete your visit, and we also saw Marco's Pizza get delivered to the patio.

First visit today for Chili Cook-off and had a great time. Great beers and friendly visits with other guests and employees. I've found a comfortable place to stop in for a beer. Don't know why I think I need to mention, but, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place. 😃 …

Brewery that’s part vinyl album store. I loved the atmosphere. It was like I was back in high school, hanging out at a friend’s place “discovering” their dad’s albums. I’m not a big IPA fan and if I have one minor nitpick, it’s that their beer selection was very IPA heavy when I visited. However, they had a one or two darker, maltier options that I enjoyed and I would be back regardless just for the vibe. Beer was good, service was great. Highly recommend. Also, Taco Bell is right across the street if you’re like me and get a late-night craving after a beer or three.

Discourse Brewing is the place to be, whether you're looking for a romantic date night, family outing, or a raucous time with friends. This brewery is a unique space that hit every check mark for us. And for the sports enthusiasts, there are multiple TVs to catch the game. And if you're in the mood for some friendly competition, they have a selection of board games to challenge your friends. Inside, the cozy fireplace will steal your heart and keep you warm on chilly nights, but don't worry, there's an outdoor seating area for those who prefer the open air to enjoy the Kansas Fall weather. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the beer. We sampled Calculations and Splendid Sunset, and oh boy, were we in for a treat! The flavors were robust, and the taste was nothing short of amazing. It's safe to say, Discourse Brewing knows how to craft exceptional brews. The helpful friendly staff gave us notes about their beer that help making a beer choice. In short, we had an incredible

Dog Friendly Patio(Not inside). Good Beer Selection. Friendly & Knowledgeable Owner/Head Brewer. Fast Service. Good Prices. Relaxing Atmosphere. Nintendo in Corner :). They do a pay it forward beer program. A few non alcoholic options and snacks. Bring your own food is allowed. Overall a great brewery for relaxing while enjoying a tasty beer.

Delicious beer and fun atmosphere. Fast, friendly service. Great place for a tasty beer and hang out. Check out their sticker wall too. Mango sour was a delicious juicy pucker and their citrus IPA was solid.

Good beer! It’s nice to see a new brewery in town! This place had great beer and even better vibes. The atmosphere was amazing and the bar tender was also great. They offer glasses you can buy along with stickers, shirts, hats, and 4 packs of beer. I loved my beer to much I bought a 4 pack! It’s also cool that we got to see all the brewing equipment!
