CH has helped this American Asian feel connected to the history and future of the growing Asian diaspora in America. It stands alone in the region. CH is a community and regional treasure and resource. CH represents ALL Asian cultures which makes CH important to our region with the growing Asian diaspora. CH does so many things that people may not realize: language classes, cultural seminars, teach in Asia (opportunity for Louisvillians to go teach in Asia), and that amazing HOUSE! CH on 3rd street is a wonderful place to hold events of all kinds, and meetings. Recommend stopping by or attending events, you'll be surprised! Read more

We we cheerfully welcomed, and even though we arrived about a half hour early, the staff was ready to go! The exhibits on Asian patterns and designs were lovely and very thoughtfully arranged and displayed! We learned quite a bit about the basic tenets of design elements in the Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Indian cultures. The group then created a design on cloth using block printing, in the manner that saris are made. What a great collaborative activity! We had a delightful time! Read more
