Great place to work out! It can get a little busy in the post work rush but I can usually still get to what I need. They have a wide variety of weights, cardio, classes, etc for all kinds of work out options. It’s a really good price for what you get too.

I would give it a 5 star review if they had a pool, but they don’t. Highly recommend it for those that work for Collins. They have child care included with the membership, many classes to choose from, and personal trainers. There is a class, Pilates, that cost extra. I enjoy Zumba classes and their indoor walking area.

Lots of good equipment, and a great price. Much cheaper than most other gyms in the area. Some of the equipment is older, but there is also new equipment. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great gym with lots of cardio and weight equipment and free group classes! They also have additional special classes and services for a fee. A great staff, I especially like that they offer babysitting! (My toddler loves it!) They recently redid the locker rooms, which was a major upgrade. The only thing missing is a pool.

Nice gym for the price. It's also pretty much never full (compared to the college gyms I'm used to). I usually go at 4-5 pm and have never had trouble getting a bench or squat rack, something that's rare in my experience. I'd say this place would get a 5 if it had a pool. The track, basketball courts, and volleyball courts however do make this a great place to workout nonetheless.

I do my workout 3 times per week. Using the free weights and station machines keeps me feeling energized and fit. Thanks to Jeff for setting me up on a routine that I enjoy and get results. I can do my workout in about an hour because there are plenty of of stations and that means virtually no wait time . The staff is always helpful and Jon keeps the numerous machines operating for maximum availability. Also, if you have Medicare part C, you're Silver Sneakers eligible and have free admission.

Not only is this an expansive gymnasium/fitness center featuring many pieces of equipment that could be considered “rare” such as a Lat-pullover machine, but it is also home to a roster of great staff. Special shoutout to Nick at the front desk, he remembers my name and even remembers my girlfriend’s name whom I occasionally bring as a guest. Every time I enter the Collin’s Rec Center he is chatting with patrons and going the extra mile to know them on a more personal level. I have been going to various gyms for a long time, but I do remember how daunting working out was at first. The gym is meant to be constructive, and a hostile atmosphere can turn people away before they even start, so serious props to the staff for creating and upholding a welcoming environment. Best gym in the CR area. 5/5.

I am participating in the Physical Therapy aspect of the Rec Center. The staff are very friendly. They listen to my current state and update my therapy as needed. They develop my program to what I need. I have seen a lot of progress in just a month and a half.
