Great music ,good crowd ,drinks are good not too much $ ,and they have hookah available .Bartender's are great ,they have happy hour specials and they have food throughout the week with different items on the menu so that's another plus . Also have cops at the door along with security walking around inside .I recommend this place if your looking for a fun night out!

City Lounge has been my new place to be since it opened, my favorite night is Thursday night, sing your heart out at karaoke night. The staff there can’t get no better, great people, excellent attitudes and service. The prices are good and the hookahs be hitting, every flavor is good. The DJ’s be on fire, City Lounge just be lit, great atmosphere, I would recommend everyone to stop in and check it out CITY LOUNGE is the place to be.

Great spot to chill. Every time I come up to NJ THE CITY LOUNGE is the place to be. It’s always a nice crowded friendly barmaids and bar tenders. The drink are very good and the price is just right.. If your looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy your evening then the City Lounge is the place to be. I almost forgot the hooka of off the chain.

Today we took my daughter to celebrate her 30th bday....we went for the brunch and everything was amazing...the unlimited Mimosas and Bellinis were on point. the brunch was amazing...the chicken and waffles, fried whitings and grits were soo delicious. Kennard and Nakema took awesome care of us. We also had the hookah.....I will definitely be back.

The place is clean my experience with the staff is Awesome every time. My favorite nights down there are Tuesdays from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. with karaoke. The hookah and drinks are definitely on point. That's it. Karaoke QueenBiig Jojo says so!! So get down there and tell them Biig Jojo sent ya! Only if you're a good person tho. We don't do negative no matter what life smacks you hard with. This lounge is the NEW WAVE!! Great drinks, food and vibe. Every night it’s a different theme different Dj. The ladies in here are so sweet and cute. Every time I’ve been here I received great service as soon as I walk in the door. The drink menu is EVERYTHING!! They even have a basketball ball hoop in there. I’ve never had a problem with my bill they break everything down for you and I can appreciate them allowing you to split the check if you have more the one person. This is about to be my “CHEERS” where everyone will know my name 🤣🤣🤣

Food, music, and atmosphere was great. The staff was very attentive which is rare at other bars. WE LOVED IT. My homegirls from Rutgers go often, it’s their favorite Newark spot. Wish I lived closer but very well worth the drive. Can’t wait to go back. (P.S. the owner was present, active, and involved, you never see that these days) I’m beyond impressed!

Don't be turned-off by the lack of curb appeal because once you find the entrance to go inside, things improve from there. The staff is excellent and the music keeps the going and the drinks flowing, add a round of Hookah and you and your crew are in for a good time. The place is small and there is only one restroom for everyone so if you have a smaller bladder and pee often. This might not be the place for you. Overall, great place for locals to attend any day or night of the week. Go with the intentions of having a good time and you will, the music and the drinks won't disappoint you or your crew. Go during Happy Hour and enjoy the Happy Hour Specials $$

For what it is its a nice place. I would like their to be more food options whenever it its available. Otherwise the artist they have performing are Jerseys top tier and the DJ's really be cutting up 👌🏾. If you want any kind of space for you and a party of more than two you have to get a section the rest of the area is not big enough for anyone not by themselves or with only one person. This is truly a hidden gem!!! It's small but worth every minute!!! They have hookah that is the BEST EVER!!! They have a local woman cooking food and selling plates...food was so DELICIOUS!!! The bartenders were so attentive and nice!! Drinks strong...definitely real alcohol sold here...not watered down!! We will definitely be back!! Had soooo much fun!!!
