Chronicles is a family friendly distillery for all ages, but people who wish to drink cocktails or purchase bottles to go, must be 21 or older. Mocktails, soda and water are available for those under 21. Established in 2017. We started the city, state and federal paperwork process in January of 2017. It took us 2.5 years to get our doors open due to restoring our building location to local codes, building all of our furniture and equipment as well as our sign on the front of the building.
We spend 4 months busting plaster off of the brick walls, cutting out the old mortar and replacing it with new mortar and giving it the concave finger groove texture.
We spent 2-3 months removing old carpet and cheep pressed wood from the old hardwood floors, making plugs for holes in the floor, sanding the floors and polyurethaning the floors to bring back the original look.
We also took off all of the fake wood paneling off of the walls and beams to expose the original wainscoting/bead board and huge wood beams.
The Asher building was built in 1914-1915 and use to be a grocery goods/mercantile store. It has evolved over the years with a variety of business's, but still has the original feel.
