Specialties: Kristine Jelstrup, CMFT, CBK, LMT has been a natural health care practitioner in Cambridge for more than 17 years. She uses various forms of Applied Kinesiology to find the root cause of health problems whether physical, chemical or emotional. Once identified, the blockages are released, structure is improved, and organ systems are supported with nutrition to restore the body to good health.
All the techniques Ms. Jelstrup uses are various forms of Applied Kinesiology, which at it's core, simply helps the practitioner be the facilitator of information from the client's body to the client. She is certified in the Morphogenic Field Technique and Bio-Kinetics Health Systems. She is also trained in Koren Specific Technique and Nutrition Response Testing.
Ms. Jelstrup has had great success with structural issues like low back, neck, knee and hip pain, chemical issues like hormone imbalances, migraine headaches, low energy, eczema, rheumatoid arthritis, gastro intestinal disorders, food and seasonal allergies, and emotional issues like anxiety, fear and depression.
"It's really very simple," she says. "If you give the body what it needs and take away what is harming it, it will heal. The challenge is to figure out what those things are; by using different forms of Applied Kinesiology, I can do that." Established in 1999. I started out as a massage therapist in 1999 but both my parents are chiropractors so I knew I wanted to do more of the energy work my dad was doing. He's quite a famous chiropractor in the Seattle area, Dr. Carl Jelstrup, D.C. He suggested I learn Koren Specific technique from Dr. Tedd Koren, D.C., Bio-Kinetics Health from Dr. Lawrence Newsum, D.C., and the Morphogenic Field Technique from Dr. Frank Springob, D.C. All these awesome doctors teach their techniques to any health care practitioner with a license. They want to share their work and help as many people as possible, not keep it to themselves or a select group. My practice has flourished over the years and I am so grateful to be able to help so many people!
