My journey at CCLS NJ goes as far back as my first year in the United States (2005). At the time, I was not even close to being fluent in English. I had some notions of English grammar, but could barely pronounce 100 words. Enrolling into CCLS' program provided me with the conversational skills I needed to succeed in high school, and thereafter. A few years later, I also had the pleasure of becoming an ESL teacher at CCLS. For the most part, I served (and still do) as a living example of the school's efficient methods. So I can testify both as a former student and employee that this is a serious institution that has contributed to the success of many individuals like myself. If you are looking for a school that is committed to excellent service, look no further. CCLS NJ is the place to be!

I wish I could give this school more than just 5 stars! I started CCLS in Spanish Level 1 and I am now in Level 2. My teacher is Alejandra and she is exceptional and super intelligent! I have learned so much in 6 months that I even surprise myself when I speak Spanish. CCLS offers small classes, convenient schedule times, friendly staff, and the prices; you can’t beat them! I have been studying Portuguese at CCLS on and off for a number of years. Thanks to my amazing teacher Rodrigo I can now communicate with my family in Brazil. I have taken individual classes both at the school and via Skype and have had nothing but a great experience. I feel very confident about the training I got at CCLS under their TESOL program. The most experienced teacher guided me and challenged me throughout my 60 hours in class while I had to prepare faux classes for the coming class. The in-person training I found to be very valuable because having an experienced person to ask questions to accelerates the learning curve greatly. I recommend that anyone interested in teaching ESL obtain his or her TOEFL certificate here rather than online as it prepares you much more for the real teaching experience. I would know as I now teach ESL confidently and successfully.

I recently took personal online Spanish classes this summer. The school operations are great, very organized and responsive. The actual lessons and teachers were great as well. They placed me in the correct level and went at a speed that was good for me. The actual text materials are easy to understand and learn from as well.Definitely recommended.
